    TALK & MUSIC - Book Launch and musical performance. Celebrating ten years of Murty Classical Library of India, published by Harvard University Press, at the launch of the landmark anthology Ten Indian Classics, with a foreword by the award-winning poet and translator Ranjit Hoskote. The evening will feature conversations on some of the most iconic works of Indian literature translated by renowned scholars from eight different languages of India going back across 2,500 years, interspersed with a musical performance by the celebrated singer and composer, Shubha Mudgal.     TALK - A Drop in the Ocean by Syeda Saiyidain Hameed. Publisher: Speaking Tiger Books. Syeda Hameed was nine years old when her first story was published in Shankar’s Weekly in 1951. It was the start of a prolific writing career that would include the translation and editing of four volumes of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s works, and translations of Hali, Ghalib, Faiz and Sarmad Shaheed.
