25th August 2007 The 1st lecture in our Astronomy Series: Understanding The Night Sky. Anorientation of the night sky, finding directions, constellations, etc. 
   
29th September 2007 The 2nd lecture in the Astronomy Series: Know Your Star - the Sun. A presentation on the life cycle of the Sun, how it was born and how it is going to die. 
   
4th October 2007 ‘Space Race Fest’ a week of astronomy related activities in celebration of 50 years of space exploration. A multi media presentation on 50 years of space exploration followed by interaction with noted astronomer, C.B.Devgun
   
6th Nov'ember 2007 The 3rd lecture in our Astronomy Series: Know Your Celestial Neighbour- the Moon. The session would include trivia and facts about Moon, how moon phases occur, what causes eclipses etc followed by an interaction with astronomers. 
   
23rd December 2007 The 4th lecture in our Astronomy Series: Understanding Winter Skies. Winters are good times for star gazing as the sky has many big constellations, like Orion, Taurus, along with other celestial objects. The session will cover what all we can see in the sky in the coming months and understanding the constellations and where to see for them. 
   
27th January 2008 The 5th lecture in our Astronomy Series: A Peep Into The Universe: Celebrating Hubble Telescope. The presentation involves introduction to Hubble Space Telescope (HST), movies about images and findings by HST, images and popular videos. 
9th February 2008 The 6th lecture in our Astronomy Series: Journey To The Edge Of The Universe . An imaginary journey of our mind till the end of the known universe.
