The Habitat Library & Resource Centre (HLRC) and Library Lounge will be opening in a limited manner from Monday, September 7, 2020.
In view of the prevailing situation with reference to COVID-19 and government advisories in light of the same, we have put in place safety measures with reference to sanitisation and social distancing norms.
Consequently, since the number of seats in the HLRC are now limited to 30, any member wishing to use HLRC will have to call at 011-43662021/011-43662022 the previous day between 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., to register a request for visiting the HLRC, the next day. Request for use, if available will be confirmed to the member on first-come, first-served basis and the confirmation will be forwarded by email/sms to the member. Only those members who have a confirmed registration (by email/sms) are requested to visit the HLRC.
The HLRC will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., from Monday – Saturday.
Amendments in guidelines to visit HLRC
The HLRC will continue to be open only to members and the seating available in the HLRC is limited to 30, as per the Revised Norms and Guidelines for the use of the HLRC.
However, the following amendments have been made to the Revised Norms and Guidelines, in keeping with our review and suggestions from members:
The Library Lounge will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., from Monday – Saturday.

These norms and guidelines are to be read along with other existing HLRC Guidelines.
Staff have been authorised to enforce the guidelines strictly.
Given the present pandemic situation and in consideration of one’s own as well as others’ safety, all members are requested to strictly abide by the guidelines.
