IHC Collegiate Theatre and Music Festival 2026. Short Circuits (Hindi & English/ 60 mins) by The Players, Kirori Mal College. Dirs. Gauri Goswami, Ananya Luthra, Moulik Dhingra. An abridged bi-lingual adaptation of Caryl Churchill’s celebrated play Love and Information, our production Short Circuits is a collage of short sketches that touch upon the way we connect to the people and the worlds we know. The play touches upon the complexities of relationships, the subjectivity of memory and the weight of societal expectations that impact us. In doing so, we are given a peek into circuits of revelation, incomprehension, reversals and breakdown. Our production is based on the template of a theatre workshop and improvisation exercises which are undertaken by an ensemble of six actors – with 2 stools, 2 chairs and a box of random objects for company!

Followed by Yes No Maybe (Hindi & English/ 60 mins) by The Players, Kirori Mal College. Dirs. Sufi Siddharth Kabir & Poorva Aggarwal. Yes No Maybe is a theatrical rendering of Anand Ekarshi’s film Aattam (‘The Play’). Our play features a Delhi college theatre group whose close-knit camaraderie is unsettled when Anjali accuses a fellow actor, Siddharth, of molesting her during a cast party. What begins as an attempt to

collectively address the crisis gradually turns into a difficult reckoning for the group. The group grapples with the discomfort of confronting one of its own members, even as it struggles in walking the line between believing Anjali and needing details in a quest for fairness. When Siddharth suddenly brings news of an invitation he has wrangled for the troupe to perform at a festival at Mumbai’s prestigious Royal Opera House, deeper fractures within the group are pitilessly revealed. In exploring the fragility of ethical action, the complexities of group dynamics, and the cost of ambition, Yes No Maybe confronts the uneasy question: what does justice look like when ambition, loyalty, and uncertainty collide?
