IHC Theatre Festival 2025. Kadambari (Hindi, Bengali with English subtitles/ 90 mins). Wri. & Dir. Meghna Roy Choudhury. Tracing Fragments of a Shattered Muse is a lyrical exploration of the life and legacy of Kadambari Devi, Rabindranath Tagore’s muse, confidante, and sister-in-law. Through fragments of memory, the play delves into how history remembers a woman who inspired greatness yet remained in the shadows. Set in her imagined final hour, Mrityu (Death) arrives to take both Kadambari and Rabi, igniting a poignant dialogue between the living and the beyond. As they reminisce about childhood and growing up together, Rabi pens a final song for his beloved Bouthan. The narrative gently unfolds themes of longing, silence, and legacy, offering a deeply intimate portrait suspended in time. Prod. Paradigm Shift Arts. Tickets at Rs.200, Rs.350 & Rs.500 are available on bookmyshow.com and at the Habitat Programmes desk. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
