IHC Theatre Festival 2025. Naam Mein Ka Rakhwo Hai? (What is in the Name?) (Hindi & Gibberish/ 80 mins). Wri. Niketa Saraf & Saurabh Nayyar. Dir. Saurabh Nayyar. In a fictional village, a unique Swayamvar unfolds once a year on a special full moon night, where women can choose their ideal groom, but this is no ordinary selection. The village’s eldest woman, Somavanti, presents a riddle, and whoever solves it gains the chance to tell her tale. Yet, there’s a twist: the story must be a lie. The most convincing falsehood wins and the girl finally gets to choose her groom. As we listen to the stories we realize each one is a sharp satire exposing the uncomfortable truths we see but refuse to face. As the night unfolds, we realize that life itself is a web of riddles and stories. But beyond all the illusions, the one thing that truly touches us is Love. Prod. Jubilee Theatre Foundation. Tickets at Rs.200, Rs.350 & Rs.500 are available on bookmyshow.com and at the Habitat Programmes desk. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
