IHC Theatre Festival 2025. Aunty Moxie is Delulu (English/ 60 mins) Written, Directed and Performed by Ashiqa Salvan. The seemingly idiotic and hopeless paradigm of Aunty Moxie, a 60-year-old woman living a dilapidated life in a bustling city, is set against the conflicts faced by Ganga, the Goddess of Forgiveness, and Nemesis, the Greek Goddess of Revenge. Their struggles converse, reflecting a search for peace in constant disorder. This piece is a theatrical query: when one is hurt, and the feeling of being wronged takes hold, how does one navigate the shifting thoughts between forgiveness and revenge? Between endlessly fighting for justice and letting go? Does forgiveness really offer peace—or does it stagnate us in a different kind of purgatory, just as revenge does? And so, is the world we inhabit merely a continuum of revenge and forgiveness, playing out across time? Prod. Okapi Entertainment. Entry by registration. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
