What’s the Film About? (Docu/ 2024/ English/ 17 mins) Dir. Poorva Bhat. The filmmaker attempts to discuss the concepts of safe and unsafe touch with her two children during a camping trip, exploring themes of consent and the portrayal of everyday actions in film.
Lollipop (2024/ Hindi with English subtitles/ 7 mins) Dir. Shreya Tripathi. Eight-year-old Chikki stands up to a shopkeeper with bad intentions with the support of an unexpected female friend.
KYC* (2025/ Malayalam with English subtitles/ 19 mins) Dir. Aravindan S S. By day, Ganesh Rajasekharan navigates his workplace with patronising authority, dismissing female colleagues and clients while championing traditional masculinity. At home, he maintains a detached dynamic with his wife, whose quiet resilience hints at an unspoken strength. By night Ganesh posts misogynistic vitriol on social media, targeting progressive women with hate.
Occha (2025/ Malayalam, Hindi, with English subtitles/ 25 mins) Dir. Sreelakshmi M. The film explores the complex relationship of a melancholic 17 year-old Varun and his mother Sujatha. Upon getting into a fight with his classmates, Varun spirals into an abyss of confusion, questioning his masculinity and maturity.
In Her Own Time (Docu/ 2025/ English, Hindi with subtitles/ 16 mins) Dir. Akshita Talwar. Every woman’s journey is shaped by her own unique set of experiences, yet there are some shared realities that connect them all together, some uplifting and others painful. Through conversations with several women, the filmmaker shares the realisation that “they” have so much love to offer but also a simmering rage inside of them.
