As India Habitat Centre continues to evolve, we remain committed to enhancing the member experience while embracing more sustainable and efficient ways of working. Over the last year, we have introduced several initiatives aimed at reducing our environmental footprint, streamlining processes and making our services more accessible. These include the transition from printed programme calendars to digital formats, the introduction of cash cards, QR-enabled digital menus, and several other steps in our ongoing journey towards digitalisation. We remain committed to continually evolving and embracing new initiatives that enhance the experience of our members.
It gives me great pleasure to announce another step in this direction with the launch of our official WhatsApp Business communication service, scheduled to become operational this Independence Day.
This new communication channel will complement our existing email communications and enable us to share timely updates directly with you.
Through this service, you will receive information on:
• Upcoming events and programmes
• Dining promotions
• Member announcements
• Important updates from India Habitat Centre
As part of the initial rollout, and in accordance with Meta's messaging framework for WhatsApp Business, messages will be sent to members in batches over the course of the coming week. If you do not receive our WhatsApp communication immediately, I request your patience. You will receive it in one of the subsequent batches.
Once the rollout is complete, WhatsApp will become one of our regular communication channels for sharing important information with members, allowing us to connect with you more effectively while continuing our efforts towards a more efficient and paper-conscious future.
