Members | Elevator replacement

Dear Members,

As you are aware, India Habitat Centre has been in the process of replacing four of its Elevators in the Hospitality areas in a phased manner. We are pleased to inform that three of these Elevators have been replaced and are now fully functional. Only the fourth and last of these Elevators remains to be replaced.

Beginning September 9, 2024, the last one shall be taken up for replacement. This is one of the two Elevators of Core 1B, which services Med, The Pool Deck, Habifit, HLRC, and the NIRD&PR and TERI Libraries.

This will regrettably cause Members some inconvenience, as there may be additional waiting time during peak hours. Please note that maximum efforts will be made to expedite the Elevator replacement, and this one should be operational by end November, 2024.

While Med, The Pool Deck, Habifit, HLRC, and the NIRD&PR and TERI Libraries shall have one Elevator functional in this block, arrangements shall also be made to provide an additional access to the Med Restaurant through The Habitat Residency Block. You may access it through the 5th floor corridor, next to the East! Restaurant.
